You created the website. Now what?  Social Media Marketing and Advertisement world!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had the warmest and happiest Christmas days! The last part of “How to expose my passion to the market”, is here. Promise not to be too long this time! As a sequence of my previous posts, this article will be about some tips and tricks on the moves, one has to do, when having created an online store.

    Step one:
    • Make sure that all the functions of your website work properly!
This might be heard a little dump, but believe me you will notice many mistakes till the day that your website comes live! It is always wise to have an extensive control through the whole site, just to make sure everything is in complete functionality and…beautiful. What i am proposing is to write down everything, every step that you (and your web developer) made in the website and then just double check them. Another thought is to have some specialists (QA testers) to test the web site.

    Step two:
    • Marketing – Promotion
How will I get people to know me and communicate my products? If you ask me the key word for the whole existence of a website (whatever this is,) is the essential promotion, which in the end will make you wanted!

First tip: “Try to sell your product to.. yourself”. If you “buy” it then it seems that you have a product and the others need to know about this.

Three really helpful and safe ways in order to gain a wide variety of people, are
 Advertisement via traditional brochure give outs, door hangers and flyers ( which especially in the UK is really essential, because people tend to actually read the contents of most brochures and show a big interest in them.)

 Social Media Marketing. Hands down for this super powerful tool called Socials! Step one: Create your business profile both on Instagram  and Facebook or even Pinterest Nowadays people even skip an actual website and make their purchases directly through social media. Of course we have to be extremely careful before we reach into that point of purchase and always double check every profile! Purchased sponsored ads on Instagram and Facebook are always a good way to get the attention.

 Talking about attention. If you are not only interested in selling your products, but you also want your own group of people , with whom you can share thoughts and ideas like me, Blogging is the best way to create your space of expression and interaction.

    • Google Analytics
Another powerful tool that is being given to us by Google. It’s the simplest and easiest way either to check your performance or even to keep track of every single detail of your site and based on it create your own marketing strategies. There are actually many more possibilities given in Google Analytics and it’s totally worth to take a closer look at it.

More or less the ‘How to expose my passion to the market’ chapter has come to an end. I hope I’ve been a little helpful with all those technical stuff. An opening of a business is a real time consuming project in which you can never settle yourself in an achievement. Your dreams should reach the sky and always have in the back of your head, ways to upgrade not only your website but mostly you as an individual.

To be honest, we haven’t reached into that point yet but will do.. since we

    Till next time take care!
